Check out http://www.wawangresort.com/ they are within Brightsand River or if you go up the Graham to about km 90 there is a road on your left called Brightsand Road there is a gate on it as you can not take a motor vehicle on this road but you can go on foot or bike there is a bridge about 2.5 km down the road this bridge is over the Brightsand River you can but your boat in at this bridge ( no motor of any kind is aloud any were in the Brightsand River system by any privet person it is different if you stay at 1 of many fly in camps or if you stay at Wawang Resort
Also if you go just past the Brightsand Rd. there is a steel 1 lane bridge on the Graham Rd just before this bridge there is a little as I call them tote Rd on the left it only goes in about 500' there you will see like a small lake but it is not it is the Brightsand River but your boat in there as I use to put my camper here when I worked at camp 603 for Great lakes Forest, a gain no motors, go strait across the river from this landing and you well see the same Brightsand Rd bridge and you are on your way.
Just a word of “caution” if you are on your way across this water way and you will see to your right a large Bay and if you go into this bay there is another smaller bay with in the big Bay stop well before this small bay But do not relax here as with in this small bay there is a water fall that will take you over if in a minute there is a cable across the water fall that if you get into trouble you can grab it, there is great fishing in this small bay and if you go to the left shore of the small bay before the falls there is a portage trail that will take you to the bottom of the falls were there is also great fishing. If you go into this small bay make shire you have a good anchor with you and I would take a really long rope with you and tie 1 end to a tree in the bigger bay. Back in the 1980's we could use motors and this bay was no problem as we just use our motor to get in Poisson and drop anchor and live the motor running just in case as we fished this small bay or we would go to the left shore to take the trail to the bottom of the falls. But now with no motor it is not so easy any more as we also use to be able to drive on the Brightsand Rd. I fished this a lot in the 80's and early 90's I also shot several moose on this road. We cut the road line and built the road when I worked at camp 603 this road go almost to Savant Lake were camp 700 use to be, The Brightsand Rd. was to join up with the camp 700 Road in Savant Lake But the 2 road stop short by I think it is only a distance of 5 or 6 miles if I remember right. Then there came a time when there was a big controversy over this road and they stopped building it and the road and water way was closed to motorized vehicle
