Posted by Roger Mayer The area you are in has excellent walleye lakes. Go a little past Sandstone Lake and there is a little plowed road on your left just before a bridge. There is a lake there called Addie Lake. The road runs right along side of it. and you can walk right out into good water to fish. Whitefish Lake is another good lake to try. Also Iron Range has some walleye in it. Your timing may be a little off. Try dusk/night fishing for walleye. Also increase the minnow/bait size this time of year. If you feel like travleing a bit try lac des milles lac. Pine Point Area. Go here for more info. Roger Mayer.
