The slush situation is the same all the way up to Fort Frances. My wife and myself were up there last week doing some ice fishing near pipestone lake and got both our snow machines stuck in about 2 feet of slush and had to be pulled out. We ended up catching northerns, crappies and perch after we got pulled out. We hope to go to squeers lake in march for lakers, if the slush is bad we will end up walking in.
