Posted by Kathryn Speer Whittamore There are rumors that J.T. ran with Frank and Jesse James back in the day, that he was a Rough Rider, that he was kicked out of Mayfield, Kentucky for being the meanest man in town, and that he may have had a previous family before he appeared in Yarbro, Arkansas. I have found him on the census with Dona in Arkansas but have yet to find him on any census before that with or without his parents. He had a brother named Jack and another brother that went to town to deliver corn with another guy and never came home. J.T. was supposedly born in Hickman, Kentucky but not sure if this is the town Hickman or the county Hickman. Any information on him or especially his parents and siblings would be greatly appreciated.

I am searching for any information on my great grandfather, John Thomas (J.T.) McClure (McLure), and his parents, William McClure (McLure) who married Betsy McClain (McCain).
J.T. married my great grandmother, Dona Porter Bunch, in Yarbro, Mississippi County, Arkansas.
