My father, was Vernon Eugene Martin born on September 18, 1916 in Gray, Knox County, Kentucky, son of David Rad Martin & Nannette Serena Walters.

David Rad Martin, was born on December 15, 1893, in Gray, Knox County, Kentucky, son of John Dalton Martin & Lucy Frances Johnson.

John Dalton Martin, born in Knox County, on August 15, 1872, son of George Valentine Martin II & Rachel Ann Keck.

George Valentine Martin II, nicknamed "the Cub" was born on June 1, 1846, in Knox County, Kentucky to George Valentine Martin I and Nancy Ann Scott.

George Valentine Martin I was NOT A Kentuckian by reason of birth on September 6, 1806, in North Carolina.
