I think the current, weight based, system rewards people who consistently catch better fish. I think AOY is designed reward the person who has the best fishing year. That is why I like the current system. I am, however, a big fan of separating AOY and team tournaments. Now unless you invert the points systen neither one is going to benefit me this year.

I think it is all good discussion.
