That means I'm definitely not doing something right. A few years ago when I was able to fish once and sometimes twice a week, I never caught gar and always caught plenty of keeper striper. The past two years, I'm fishing less and less each year and getting better at gar catching and worse at striper catching. Of course back then I had 2-4 rods, a small boat, small bait tank, but caught more fish than having 20 rods and a big boat. My goal for next year is to get back to fishing more often than once every month or two. Thanks for the tips.
