Q. What is Afrikan Liberation Theology?
A. The belief that Afrikan people should view the scriptures from an Afrocentric point of view and that that they should be used for the LIBERATION of Afrikan people.
A. We believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Yeshua is the Son of God.
We believe that Yeshua is the Black, Revolutionary Messiah.
A. Christian is derived from the Greek word Christos which means anointed; the word in Hebrew/Aramaic is Mashiah/Meshiha. So we are mYd
A. Messianic Disciples of Yeshua, the Black Revolutionary Messiah.
A. Yeshua is His name. Jesus is derived from the Greek word Iesous but He was not Greek, He spoke Aramaic, which is closely related to Hebrew so His name was Yeshua.
A. We believe that this is the divine revelation of the Messianic secret that is not revealed by flesh and blood but by the Holy Spirit.
A. The so called Middle East is really Northeast Africa and was divided from the mainland by the man made Suez Canal. The picture that many people believe is Jesus (Yeshua) is really a picture of one of Michelangelos family members.
A. Yeshua was a revolutionary because he made a revolutionary change in the world and was crucified for stirring up the people which was a revolutionary action.
A. We believe that most of the people of the Bible were Black. We start with Eden, which we believe was in Africa. Some use the term Afro Asiatic but since the Black gene is dominant, the people would still be Black. This is especially true under the Western worlds definition of Blackness as one drop of Black blood made you Black. We pose this question. If Jesus (Yeshua) was around in the days of segregation in Alabama and went to eat in a restaurant, would he have been served or asked to leave, based on his skin color?
A. No, we are a movement made up of Afrikan people who practice Afrikan Liberation Theology.
