Should Black Folks Support The Passion of the Christ

During Black History Month, there are always the
obligatory television programs that brag about how far
Black folks have come and how Black actors no longer
have to portray butlers and maids but are able to
portray any roles they want from business executives
to presidents. But there is still one role that is
taboo and sends shivers down the spines of white
folks, the role of a black Christ.
The Passion of the Christ starring yet another white
actor portraying Yeshua (misnamed Jesus Christ by the
European). Although the movie is being marketed as
highly controversial, for Black folks it is yet
another propaganda mechanism promoting the dominance
of Euro-Christianity and the manipulation of
historical facts by white folks.

dominance of a Euro-Christian theology that has kept
Afrikan people spiritually, mentally and ,initially,
physically enslaved. It is one thing to be forced by a
so called slave massa to bow down to a white picture
of Jesus but in 2004 to willfully stand in line in the
cold and pay 8 dollars to support our spiritual
oppression is not only outrageous but a betrayal to
our African ancestors who died for the FREEDOM that we
now have.

white Christ! We will use the release of The Passion
of the Christ to teach our people about the reality of
Yeshua, the Black Revolutionary Messiah and the
Original Black Hebrew Israelites.
