titan f6 fit Posted by Bill on 1/11/2009, 8:18 am 98.149.197.119 I bought a size 48( chest messures 47.5) titan f6 shirt and went up to 450lbs trying to get it to touch with no luck. Friend says I need to go up a size and may even need to go to a custom shirt due to my arm size(18.5 cold) being out of proportion to my chest size (47.5 with arms to my side. Shirt also did a number on my arms friend says some ripping is to be exspected but mine was excessive. I would like to know if this is part of the break-in process or do I need to go up a size and if I do need to go up a size can I exchange it.  Post a Response

Did you pull the bar into you or did you just let the weight push it down? You have to pull it into your chest with a tight shirt on. Exchanges are no problem. The second try I rolled out on the right side trying to get it closer to my stomach would it be better to try again with a wider grip i lifted with my middle finger on the grips. I'm just starting out using a shirt so my arch is not much to speak of and my raw max was not that great either. I was using a hand me down 52 F6 before I ordered the 48 F6 and was just blown away with what it took to touch compared to the 52 I'm not ready to be hitting more than 600. There are alot of things I need to work on first like my arch and finding a comfortable grip on top of getting the shirt figured out. So I sent the 48 back for a 50 I can always have it altered later besides my chest is still growing never really hit it this hard before. I'm 6'2 270 with a 48 chest and 19 arms so i got a ways to go before i even think of competing in anything other than local charitable competitions and the guys in my class hit over 600 and i'm not close to handling that yet.
