Question before I order a shirt

I am currently wearing a 46 S\S. I want to switch to the A\S. I have gone from zero arch to one of about 4". I was wondering if a 44 would not be painfully tight. I have a 44.5" chest and 17" biceps both measurements are relaxed. More of my concern is on the arms...
