Katana Question

Mike,
I am moving from multi-ply gear to single-ply gear after a raw meet this weekend. I am getting my gear lined up for a meet July 19, and the consensus after all my research is to get a super nxg + & katana. My question, though, concerns the katana. I was suggested by Mark Bell over at supertraining gym to get a single Katana "supertraining edition." Are you familiar with this? What does it entail? Cost? Is it IPF legal? Thanks for the help. Keep up the good work.
