These shoes both have a 7/8" heel. If you want a flat footed show chucks are by far the best. If you want a heel then thse shoes would be great. The leather is a little thicker on the SST. The wedge arch support is a full moled insert that stops any side roll. I have used these shoes in the past for many years. They make it feel like you are stnading in solid concrete. I just got away from the heel because my stance widened up so much.
