I actually measured my 46 AS from the seam to seam and it is also 6 3/8 inches. Does that mean the 46 and 48 have the same chest plate? If that is the case getting a 48 may not help me? My 44 A/S is 7 1/8 inches. The designs mush have really changed as I got this one a year ago. I'm not a shirt expert but I need one in between these.
