The Fitting a Squat Suit

I got the 48 size Centurion after having a 46 that I couldn't get my legs into. I was able to put the 48 on by myself with the slip-ons. The suit fit snug in the legs but was loose in the strap area. I was able to get it on and off by myself. Is this normal for a squat suit? I hear that it should take help to get a suit on.
