It's important to know if your Democratic candidate is supported by the "Liberal Party" or the "Working Families Party" and a cross-party endorsement can do that. I think America is fortunate to have a "Two Party System" in that you are not bogged down with two many choices like the Italians are. But I am a strong believer in third parties, which have made significant strides in American Democracy throughout our history. A third party can cross-endorse and push that one candidate over the edge. A third party can also support an outsider who can upset the two major parties by winning support from voters. Without the Conservative, Liberal, Working Families, Green and the Libertarian Parties running candidates and even cross-endorsing, you lose a part of American history.

I support cross-party endorsements and think it's another attack on democracy when a career politician finds new ways to keep his or her tail in office indefinitely.
