Dear Colin, I am absolutely with you. I will go to my grave a Liberal. When I could first vote my choices were the Democratic Party which was still floundering over whether or not desegration was a good idea; or the Republican Party which had just finished destroying the lives of hundreds of artists with it's hideous McCarthyism. This was no choice to me. Today there are many honest liberal Democrats, but they are afraid to speak out as the American corporate media has so effectively gagged truthspeakers, often destroying them as effectively as McCarthy and his followers did. This is why we need a viable LIBERAL PARTY in this country!!!
