Posted by Ronachai I don't intend to be negative and I do hope that you can obtain ballot status. But at the moment I don't see armies of signature gatherers obtaining 15,000 valid signatures for the party. I hope that they do but don't see it. Then there is the matter of running a candidate well-known enough and well enough financed to get 50,000 votes free of the Demoratic and Republican parties. Gullisano did it with money. Do the Liberals have his kind of money? And if Gullisano runs again he would siphen off all the protest votes, that is the anti-Democratic / Republican votes leaving few left for the Liberals. That is what happened in 2002. So again I see difficulties. And the Working Families Party will be sniping away at their key rival and for the moment they seen to have enthusiasm. Time will tell and I will be following the progress wishing the Liberals good luck along the way. Ronachai

First let me say that is nice to have responses from a Liberal Party official such as Richard Sedlisky.
