I'm sure he is isn't. We will re-gain our ballot status when New York votes for a governor in 2006. We must have 50,000 votes on our line to re-gain our status. Our goal is to have a Liberal candidate to compete with the Democrats, Republicans and Conservatives. We'll see. You may or may not know that the Democratic Party tried to eliminate us in 2002 through their subsidiary party, the Working Families Party. By forming the Working Families Party, the Democratic Party thought that all Liberal Party memebers would go to the WFP. That did not happen. The Working Families Party is anything but an independent party. Yes, we did sustain damage because of the Democratic Party's actions against us, but we are here. It will take some time but so far, so good for us. The Democrats don't like the fact that we are independent of them and don't always back their candidates, thus their actions against the Liberal Party. It's easy to register as a member of the Liberal Party. Obtain a voter registration ballot from your county's Board of Elections. At the bottom, you'll see a line where you can write in "Liberal Party". You'll be back home. If you have any problems doing so, let me know and we will make sure that you are registered as a Liberal. On a separate note, if there are others in St. Lawrence County who would like to become members of the Liberal Paty, please respond to me via our website and we will make sure that all are registered appropriately. All the best to you, Carol, Richard Sedlisky
