Posted by Liberal Democratic party USA Liberals need to take the fight to the corporations in the form of consumer boycotts that we can do every single day and not just at election time once every year, 2 years, 4 years and 6 years. Our party does not run candidates nor do we charge dues. How do you join the party? By simply sending a letter to a GOP contributor demanding a set of legislation with a promise that until the demand gets met you will no longer buy their products. Imagine thousands of people calling, emailing these companies and calling and emailing the GOP, which stands for Greed Oppression and Persecution, the set of demands that you sent to the companies. Consider the scared CEOs that receive notes from their public relations departments that thousands of people voted with their dollars If you want to join this experiment in politics and take the fight to the companies that give money to the regressive GOP go to http://www.dmocrats.org and send the letter to the GOP. Also make some phone calls thusly. Call GOP contributor and war contractor General Electric Corporation at 203 373 2211 and ask for the public relations department. Tell the person in public relations that you want the GE CEO to get Bush to end the war in Iraq and then Bush resign with Cheney and until that happens you will not buy any GE products and that you will tell your friends about this. Call Rite Aid at 1-800-325-3737 and tell the person to get the CEO to get the GOP to enact HR 676 Single payer health care and repeal Medicare Part D and place the drug benefit in Medicare Part B covering 80% of drugs with no extra premiums, no extra deductibles, no means tests, no coverage gaps, and remove the means test for Medicare Part B and until you do, we won't buy ANYTHING from Rite Aid.

Let's face it, corporations determine to a high degree the agenda in congress. In a lot of cases whoever gets elected the result appears a centrist agenda that does not offend corporations.
