I can see why they would fight to keep the Democratic candidate from accepting your endorsement. If you and the WFP split the third party vote, neither of your parties may get the automatic qualifier to appear on the ballot. Here's an interesting idea. On my website, I list all of the parties active in New York State. If you and three or four other like minded parties nominated the same person, that would be quite a publicity factor. That publicity might generate into enough votes to get two or three of you an automatic ballot line where as all of you just running your own candidates wouldn't. Remember the motto of my website: Publicity Breeds Name Recognition ===> Name Recognition Breeds Name Familiarity ===> Name Familiarity Breeds Votes.
