i agree completely. Income tax is extortion. My parents pay 37% tax on their money as soon as they earn it. $500 bucks a month on a house they already own. Is it fair to punish my dad for going to college for twelve years? No. Either flat tax the income, or abolish it and raise the sales tax. Think of how hard sales tax is to avoid. put about a 10% sales tax on everything, and i bet the national tax revenue will actually go up, even with the loss of the income tax.
