I have a Xerox-copied picture of Mr. Godsey that was "autographed" by him. He kind of reminds me of Hank Williams in the picture with a young Garth Brooks face. He is posed with his guitar. It was sent with some of my late grandmother's (Mildred I. Satterfield Baker) belongings. I don't reckon I have ever met him, but I sure would like to know about Mr. Godsey and his connection to my grandmother. My grandmother had a lot friends in her day. Mr. Godsey must have shared her interest in music. Was he famous? I bet he was interesting character. I would appreciate any information given. Thank you!
