Clayton Clark had 5 children and Clayton died. I have nothing showing for 1920 and 1930.......and so forth.

I am MAINLY looking for anything on Arminta / Araminta/ Minta/ Mintie HAMMETT MACK. b- March 1850 in Kentucky died in 1937 in Lawrence Indiana, 1st Marriage was to Johnny MACK, (it was said Johnny was Cherokee) Between 1865 and 1875 they were said to have come down the Mississippi River in a house boat to Arkansas. They had 8 children but only two lived. Mary was born in Oct 1876-1875 and Leonard in Oct 1881 both born in Kentucky. Somewhere between 1880 and 1895 Johnny was killed breaking horse's for the government. It was also written that Johnny worked years for the government and was paid in land. So years after his death the government went looking for Arminta and couldn't find her. And many, many, many years after that they found my grandmother ( I do believe this was in the early 50's) and told her the government owed her money if she could prove Johnny and Arminta was married. Little late they both passed on. The closet thing grand-mother (Hazel) could remember was a family bible with all the dates in it but no one knew where it was at.
Her (Arminta) 2nd marriage was to Steven VanCamp, no children he was 70 and she was 40, also of Bayou Meto, Ark. married 8/25/1895 said they were married for only 4 years but in the 1900 in
Ark Co. Ark. census they are still together he must of died later that year..I have plenty on Vancamps.
I believe Arminta HAMMETT b 1850 KY is related to Francis M. HAMMETT b-1848-KY (brother) because his son was named Jake (Jacob) Morris HAMMETT b-1867-Ark in 1880 Census.
(Reason for the connection is) Jacob M. HAMMETT is listed with Mary MACK (b-1875-KY died 1960-IN) and Leonard MACK (b-1881 KY,) as niece & nephew in 1900 census In Ark. (Why were they living with their Uncle and down the road were Arminta HAMMETT and Stephen Vancamp)
Then in 1910 census Arminta Hammett MACK Vancamp (my great great Grand Mother) and daughter Mary MACK Clark ( My great grand mother )are living together in La Grue Township, Ark Co, Arkansas. With Mary's three children. Alfred, Clayton and Hazel (My grandmother)
They were both widowed.
Mary Mack(b:Oct 1876) married 1)Mr. Dodd between 1885 and 1900 she had 2 children by him all were dead by 1900 census ( Need to find Mary Dodd and or Mack in 1890 census.) 2) R. Clayton Clark between 1903 and 1910 because by 1910 Mary was a widow again 3)Mr. Anderson?
(Mary did have one bad habit she's change her name to whom ever she was living with at that time. My Grandmother (Hazel) one of Mary MACK'S children had Mary's maiden name as Vancamp not Mack and born in Ark not Kentucky. So even the children were confused) She had 5 children only these three lived;

Married Anna Belle and had three child Louis, Vergel, and Alice Jo Ann.
Married Emma Harden and had 8 children, Helen, Francis, Mary Mahala,
Billy Dove, William Lee, Clayton Burton, Kathleen May, Robert Edward, Kenneth Roy.
Married Christian Suter who was Swiss and had three children Betty Lee, Louise and Helen.
Most of the family moved to Ind. Indiana between 1920 and 1930. I know this sounds like a lot but it's not and I can't seem to go any further...So if there is any kind soul that could give my another shove or a hint I'd love it..If your connected to this family or if you can help me find Arminta parents
