this is a write up ,found in HISTORY OF JEFFERSON CO, IOWA.written by Elizebeth Jane [Holton]Crail. Dec, 15,1861 [md] James D.Crail. she the daughter of Alexander &Nancy [Sellers] both natives of Bracken Co Ky.Scotch-Irish desent.moved to Mo.shelby co Mo. where they settled & lived there entire lives.Alex father Joshua Holton served with distinction in the Revolutionary war.-ELIZEBETH-1842 3rd in order of birth- of 10 children.FRANCIS --RUTHY 1832-CALVIN 1834-LYDIA 1847-POLLY-EMILY 1850-AMANDA-JOHN-BABY--. my Alexander & wife both born 1809. I don't remember where i found the listing where both families were connected. proberly if the truth is known this is two different families.. keep in contact if you find out more. thank's for returning my note.-------sandra.
