My gr.gr.grandfather was William Gettingsabt 1826 perhaps in Tn.He married Nancy Rush in Monore Co.,Ky.abt 1849.They had 3 sons -Greenberry HIX1850 [d]1943;John S.B.1852 and Benjamin1854 [d]1855 in Jackson Co.,Tn.
I found a Milton Gettings who married Hanna Rush
in Monore Co.,Ky she was a sister to Nancy.I think these two men were brothers but can't prove it.
any info will be appreicated.
