Posted by RUBY NASH there was also a Thomas Hammond that I beleive was a brother in the 1820 Census they are located on the same page two spaces apart, Simpson Co., Franklin. I have seen from anothers research that there is a Hammond Cemetery in Simpson Co. The Marriage I listed above: is a second marriage. As there are two sons that I know of and from the 1820 census there were 4 sons under the age of 10 , From later census for William in Indiana and later Iowa Mary is born in Georgia, Yet the two sons census records indicate their Mother was born in Virginia. Therefore: I know this is a lot. Yet any amount of data would help or a Pointing out the the direction to take - to advance my search - would be received with great Joy.

I have a Mary Boon that married William Hammond in apx. 1820, their dayghter Mary Ann Hammond was born July 26 1821, in Gowling Green Warren Co. the Hammond Farm was located on Drakes Creek West. in an area now to be Simoson Co. around Franklin, in the time they obtained additional lands (per Warren co. Warrents) it was Logan Co.
1.I am looking for marriage information for A Mary Boon who married William Hammond,
2.The death of William's first wife and and her name after 1820 before 1830
3. possible death of two sons after 1820 before 1830.
4. the connection betweenf William and Thomas Hammond who had the farm on Darke's Creek west.
