I am trying to find the parents of Robert JOHNSON, born April 12, 1839 in KY. He died January 16, 1914 in Warsaw, Gallatin, KY. He lived in Sparta and Warsaw with his wife Betty/Betsy Amanda/Manda JOHNS (I believe this is her maiden name.) I am searching for her parents as well. I believe she was born about 1841 in Kentucky.
I have found this couple in the 1900 and 1910 Sparta, Gallatin County Censuses, but I can't find them in the 1870 or 1880 census, even though they had been married 32 years as of 1900.
Also, if anyone lives near the New Warsaw Cemetery, there is a grave there with Bettie or Betsy Johnson, born May 21, 1846. I would LOVE to know what death date is actually on that tombstone. I have two different first names and death dates given to me online by different sources. Also, I need to know if Robert Johnson's grave in near hers and what graves are around Robert's as well. This would let me know if this is the right grave for Betty/Betsy or not.
If anyone has any information that could help me, I would be extremely appreciative! I have been trying to find their parents for over twenty years!
