Searching for informaton on my ggggrandfather (John Grant born @ 1770;s) parents. Rumor has it that my John Grants's father or Grandfahter was a William Grant who married Elizabeth Boone sister to Daniel Boone. I would be honored if this was the case, but more importantly I would love to find who they really were. There was a Wm Grant that owned property in Abington Pa in the 1740's. Also a Wm Grant in Va, and Noah Grant is another. My gggrandfather John Grant was in Berks Co Pa 1800 m. to Maria Lieb and had 5 children, Jacob, Charles, Maria, Jeremiah and Bartolette by 1817.Would love to find my ancestors.
