I am descended through Daniel's son Henry B. I am also stumped at Daniel's beginnings. He did serve in the Revolutionary War from PA. I think he ties in with Hillman's from Marths Vineyard but am not sure. Also New Jersey Hillman's have more than their share of Daniels. He is Daniel B. - I think the B stands fro Bates, but cannot prove it. Will give you info I have - email me.
