Posted by ann storland Grandpa Charlie had a 1/2 brother, Will Conley who was born 1879. Do not know the name of Will's father. Not sure, but think that Will was raised by his mother since Will & Charlie knew each other and were close. Also had a brother, Budd Collins 1890-1963. Budd died in Bartley, WV. Two sisters - Laura Collins 1891/92 who died when she was 22 (about 1913) and Cora Collins Jackson 1893-1933 (we think). Cora lived in Grayson, Carter County, KY and is buried there. Grandpa Charlie and his young family lived about 3 miles from Grayson in the early 30's. He was married to Bertha Mae Estep (b 1889 in Lawrence County, KY, died Jan 1948 in Jackson County, OH) and they had 5 children: Homer (1913), Howard (1915), Earl (1918), Lucille (1924) and Ruth (1926). The family is believed to have been in Johnson County, KY for many years. So far, we have run up against brick walls. Appears they were just dropped on the face of the earth.

Looking for the name of my great-grandparents on my grandfather's side. His name was Charles Lewis Collins and he was born on March 4, 1880 in Johnson County, KY. He died in September 1954 in Jackson County, Ohio.
