My line goes to Thomas Choate born abt 1861 in either Kentucky or Tennessee---not sure at this time. Beyond him, the family believe his parents were A. J. Choate and Elizabeth Nancy Brown---I am not yet convinced about that at this time because information is proving hard to find, but the names of the siblings do mostly agree with those recalled by my older relatives.
