I descend from the Choate line. The most distant ancestor I have VERIFIED is James Choate who married Elmira/Mira Farmer(or Palmer or Pasmer). They lived in Scott Co. (now Logan) & Pope Co., Arkansas. James' father MAY have been John R. Choate, a brother of Moses Livingston Choate. Moses lived in Kentucky for a while and married Maria Cook there.

Which Choate line do you descend from?
