Hi Kathy,
I am also looking for a John Chadwick who may have lived in AL in the 1800's,don't know his middle name,but do believe he was brn abt 1800/30 NC.and lived in GA as of the 1860's with wife Mary who may be either a James or Hodgin/Hodgins brn abt 1832 NC.
My Gfather was also named John Chadwick brn abt 1852/60 GA,died 1917 Bell Co KY,married Nancy Manerva Bond. Have heard that Gfather John Chadwick had been married at least 3 times.
