Searching for ancestors of Andrew ANDERSON who was b. 1808, KY (county unknown), father b. VA, mother b. TN. He m. 1832 Nancy Watson HEROD, in Shelbyville, Shelby Co., Illinois. Volunteered for service in Black Hawk War from Pope County, IL. Nancy Watson HEROD was dau of John Moses HEROD and Nancy PEACE. Nancy Watson HEROD was b. 1813, Union Co., KY, lived in Gallatin Co., IL until death of her father (John Moses HEROD), when she and her mother (Nancy PEACE) removed to Shelby Co., IL, to live near her brothers, James and William HEROD. Have hundreds of descendants. Need ancestors!
