You must be related to my clan. James is a great great uncle. My grandfather was Leck Bailey of Magoffin Kentucky,my father is Frank Bailey (deceased). Our great James and family moved moved to Virgina as far as I can tell. I have much more information but will have to look up who James was married to. Also Bailey's are all over the united states. I will check with cousin Barbara Lou (Bailey) She is Uncle Ellis Bailey's daughter age 62. She lives in Ohio. What else do you know about your grandfather? The Baileys origingated from Ireland and married native Americans (Cherokee Blackfoot Indian and modoc
Indian Tribes they migrated up from Texas and Oklahoma. Strange as it sounds my brother Frank Jr. married into the Easterlings in 1967. He married Yvonne Easterling, don't know if there is a connection but she even looked like the Bailey's. They divorced in 1969. They had one child named Christie Bailey, she would be about 37 or so, they moved to Fla. and Yvonne remarried. I will see if any of my siblings have her address, she might know something. She didn't keep in touch with us. Feel free to write or call, we are all doing research on the Bailey clan. I am 56 years of age. well good luck.
Sincerely,
Geneva Ann Bailey
