Thanks for the note!
No I haven't used ammonium sulfite yet.Not sure what it is/does?With the weather we have here a little water and ferterlizer and it come right back. The problem I am having is that I wait a week, top dress and were looking good. When I lower to get a decent roll then I have scalping problems..and it starts all over again.
Thanks!

: Mark, I have a dwarf green in Mesa AZ
: and also used sod and had some high
: spots. I found it helpful to
: topdress around the high spots and
: found that the scalping was caused
: in some cases more so by low spots
: were the mower would dip and cause
: scalping. Have you used ammonium
: sulfate yet? It will grow back
: fast, most important at this point
: to protect the crown of the plant
: with top dress.

: : Thanks for the response!
: Great info...it's about 40% scallped
: the remainder is looking pretty
: good.What I don't understand is how
: to get the high spots down?if you
: top dress and raise the cutting
: height...how are you ever going to
: get to a height that is puttable?
: Thanks again!

: : Raise mower, fertilize with
: starter or similar.
:
: You are basically regrowing the
: green but that should not be a
: problem as scalping bermuda that has
: been established will not be
: detrimental long term. Just have
: patience and in 2-3 weeks the
: regrowth should be substantial. Do
: not over water as if it is
: sod/sprigs - once a day will be more
: than enough.
:
: Is the whole green scalped or just a
: couple of mower passes, pics might
: help.
