What's next for browning

Thanks to Gary I think we determined the causal of my patch browning (Anthracnose basal rot). After some fungicide applications it appears to be halted. Will the bent eventually regrow over those patches or am I supposed to cut it out and reseed or re-sod? Thanks. Long Island, NY
