One thing you might want to check is to make sure your mower blades are sharp.
: Hi all, I am from CT and we are
: currently in an opressive heat wave
: with extreme humidity. A few weeks
: ago, when the temps were much
: cooler, my green was in absolutely
: perfect shape with no brown spots
: and with everything filled in
: nicely. Now, there seem to be spots
: that are browning out (not
: completely dead, just appearing
: dry). There isnt a defined ring
: around them, so it probably isnt
: dollar spot.
:
: What I have been doing the past few
: days is watering the whole green a
: lot, but especially those spots. I
: appliewd a granular fungicide a few
: weeks ago, but it has probably been
: 3-4 weeks since I fertilized
: it...are those spots a lack of
: nitrogen or just because of the heat
: wave? Thanks all! Your help is
: greatly appreciated!
