Because it is Bermuda it likes the heat so you will have to mow it more often now but if you are getting more clippings maybe add a extra mow day in the week. If you lower the height of cut that means you need to mow more often to keep it consistent. So the lower you go the more mowing needed to keep it from scalping. Good luck.
