If you are talking about high spots in the earth, then I think you will not get good results. I had the same problem.
What I recommend is when the green is soft, cut a cup in the center of the high spot, then smash the whole area lower (foot or roller) then you will need to recut the cup (it gets smaller) then put your original plug back in. I had a bunch high spots. This was the only method I found that worked without constantly scalping the green.
