I just wanted to take the time to acknowledge that today was the day that Richard Martin of RicAli kennels passed. He left an impression in the bulldog world and even in his obituary it mentions his love of the dogs.
We will always remember him even though we didnt have much time to really get to know him. I remember our last conversation when he questioned the food we feed our dogs as well as what we planned to feed guests at our kennel and he responded in approval. To some that may be a silly question, to me it showed he genuinely cared about all dogs extending beyond his own.
I have said over and over that I would have loved to have gotten to know him better. He rests here on the property but yet he lives on.
