Here in Germany it is not allowed to sell a pup without a microchip, so the breeder is responsible for that.
That's why we have the microchip number written in the pet passport and for sure in our contract. And that's why we need that number written on our papers. We as breeders need to proof that all our puppies are chipped when they leave us.
I think it is the best way for all involved, so there could be no doubt about the origin of any pup.
