Hi
Thank you for considering me part of the LBA Working Team and part of the LBA family. I am very proud to represent the Leavitt Bulldogs with Caribbean Bulldog’s Goliath.
I believe that all dogs have the potential to be a good dog, but no all dogs have the potential to be a working dog. If anyone has a potential working dog, but does not devote the time and effort to train, this potential is lost. I started to train the first day that Goliath came to my house, at 4 months I started formal basic obedience training with a trainer. When Goliath was one year old I talked with the trainer for personal protection training. He makes a temperament test and Goliath approved so the PPT start.
Eight months later the trainer told me that he want that I bring Goliath to evaluate for CSAU (Certificat de Sociabilite et d’ Aptitude a’ l’Utilisation). The rating was Excellent. The same day of Goliath certification, I saw the French Ring Sport and I love it. I told the trainer that I want to compete with Goliath, he said that it is a lot of work but he can do it.
Right now I’m training my dog in Advance Obedience and Protection, two days a week with the trainer and follow-up 5 days a week. I hope to be ready to compete in March 2012.
