I think yesterday's frank thread was very usefull in airing problems and possible solutions.
I look forward to helping enact breeding selection criteria for Europe and any others who want to participate.
I've been to Holland twice and while I'm sorry that some imported pups have not matured into excellent dogs, I feel the problems Sita has listed, are being overstated.
I refuse to cede authority to accept outcrosses to the LBF or EKC. Call these dogs OEB and run with it.
The conformation class called Leavitt and Leavitt-like should more properly be called OEB and there should be a separate class for 100% LB's even if it is small. The same is true for RB's who I had to judge against Hermes dogs with a completely different look. If it takes 40 dogs to make a class worthwhile for the promoter's wallet then let clubs or businesses sponsor the small classes.
I thank my friends for their support.
