do you know that here in germany most of the big clubs for working dogs register the results of X-raying for HD/ED within the pedigrees?
I think it could be a great supplement for the breed if the LBA would do something like that.
If you have one central registry where all of the results are written down you would get a good overview about the heredity of HD, ED and missing teeth for example.
And if you write it into the pedigree (official confirmed) every breeder can get all the information he needs with one view. And after a few generations you have an exact information database about all the main health problems. So you can select, which lines should be bred and which lines better not.
Look at the continental program here in europe - it's exactly what they are doing.
