If you are running into these problems with the dogs you have, I understand your need for a healthy out-cross. I myself have done an outcross for personal needs, not so much because I have problems with my line of Leavitts, but rather because I needed something unrelated and wanted a little bit thicker bullier dog that is still athletic and healthy. Those pups are not LBA excepted and not LBA registered.
I understand that Boneshakers did not produce this dog, but he did breed her and some of her pups were sold to breeders that are now breeding them when they know they are missing teeth. When I say cut the dogs and just take the loss, I mean cut these dogs out completely, I know it is a big hit and a lot of money is lost, but is it really worth it??
This is why health screening every dog to the fullest is so important. People can not keep judging their dogs by looks only. Again Sita I am very sorry you are having a hard time with your dogs. I sure hope things do look better for you in the future.![]()
