Hi Mary I`m not sure how big this problem is and i`m not gonna lecture anyone But i know its not uncommon that dogs missing teeth you can find website`s were they say its because dogs getting bigger, smaller or slimmer heads as well as mouth. In my opinion that is the biggest issue changing the looks and the genetics structures of the Leavitt They also say if you using a male with missing less than four teeth you can correct with the offspring as long if you don't use the lines of the same male again. This is how they do it with Dobermans and they are aloud to miss four teeth and this is an AKC registered dogs. Hope this helps Gr Barry and Cindy
