I regret that I must withdraw my support and authorization from the LBF (Leavitt Bulldog Foundation) in the Netherlands. I take this action because LBF President An Hoogenboom is planning to register crossbred dogs, contrary to my wishes and those of the LBA. The LBF will be replaced by the Leavitt Bulldog Association Europe (LBAE). This core group of breeders and trainers will work together to improve the dogs. Its founding members are Steve and Jessica Gilmour (England), Lassi Suntio (Finland), Lars Jeppesen (Denmark), Jonas Dewinter (Belgium), Monique Kloosterman (Belgium), Arno Petit (France), Laure Hanouna (Switzerland), and Barry and Cindy Shutte (Netherlands). I thank them for their support and look forward to seeing this positive group working together in the interest of the LB. David Leavitt
