Fred DENNISON: Homicide by Gun Shot, June 22, 1933

While researching my family I found my paternal grandfathers (Fred Dennison)death certificate from Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. It stated cause of death was a Homicide from a gun shot wound to liver. He died in the ambulance June 22, 1933 on way to the City Hospital. The Coroner is listed as Roy R. Carter. His residence is listed as Valley Station, KY. After many enquiries I have been unable to discover any information about this. His dob is Jan. 21, 1894 and he is buried at the Calvery Cemetery. Who shot him and why? Was anyone ever apprehended and was there a trial?
